Health and Retirement Study

The Health and Retirement Study (HRS) GBHI Project established a platform of global datasets within the HRS family of longitudinal aging studies, including HRS and The Irish Longitudinal Study of Ageing (TILDA). Additionally, a framework focusing on cardiovascular risk factors, such as blood pressure, fasting glucose, cholesterol, and depressive symptoms, has been developed for application to the HRS family of studies and can be tailored for each individual fellow’s project. Project leads continue to support the progress of fellows’ pilots and the development of a Canvas training module for Fellows to foster UCSF-Trinity collaborations and link Fellows and Faculty to HRS and the Harmonized Cognitive Assessment Protocol.
