Stories are powerful tools to engage, to learn, and to change. I hope our stories will spread new perspectives of brain health and dementia.
Niall is responsible for developing and sharing messaging, media and news for GBHI and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health community.
Being open to new perspectives
Niall is motivated to use his interests and skills in writing, science and communications to engage, to learn, and to shift thinking. He aims to elevate diverse perspectives to reach broader and more engaged audiences.
Prior to joining GBHI, Niall led communications for the division of HIV, ID & Global Medicine at UCSF. There, he directed public and media relations, wrote original news stories, and produced community events.
Niall aims to use his skills as a writer and communicator to translate and connect the knowledge and experiences of others with new audiences. He hopes his efforts will help to spread new perspectives of brain health and dementia.
Niall earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. He joined GBHI in March 2019.
