Arts, creativity, honesty, helping others
Alex's documentaries are not introspective expressions of his inner world. He believes that the ultimate source of all meaning and value is in the lived experience of human beings.
Alex is a photographer, documenting older Peruvians living in the country’s coast, mountain and jungle, with the aim of creating the first traveling, interdisciplinary exhibition of “aging in Peru” with the goal of generating social awareness of challenges surrounding aging.
Alex has had the opportunity to learn how social and environmental factors influence the lives of healthy and cognitively impaired older adults. He is interested in using photography to capture the key social and environmental forces that influence older adults.
