Overview
The creation of a series of podcast interviews with a diverse range of people with experience working in the dementia space. ‘Dementia is Global’ aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, change policies and highlight the importance of brain health. Through conversations in the US, Ireland and Kenya, we learn about the importance of hope, resilience, empathy and music in the lives of people living with dementia as well as the pivotal work of GBHI and Alzheimer’s Association USA. The series emanates from Fionnuala Sweeney’s background in journalism as an anchor/correspondent with CNN for more than two decades.
