Vision

To reduce the scale and impact of dementia, we need to empower and meaningfully engage communities in pursuing optimal brain health while broadening support for innovative, integrated, and personalized care for persons with dementia and their carers.

Strategy

Raluca’s work focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital micro-interventions for the care partners of people with dementia. These micro-interventions aim to increase caregiver resilience and prevent depression.

Impact

As an Atlantic Fellow, Raluca aims to further explore, within a multidisciplinary context, how effective digital micro-interventions can be upscaled to support people with dementia and carers who have limited access to health services.

Motivation

By designing, implementing, and evaluating digital micro-interventions for caregivers, Raluca aims to reduce barriers to receiving support (such as time constraints and access to services) and reach a larger number of caregivers in Romania.
