Matenyeh's passion for improving mental health outcomes of under-served populations drives her commitment to community-informed capacity building in low-and-middle income countries.
Strategy
Matenyeh previously worked as a Central Coordinator for the NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) at Imperial College London in the UK. Prior to working at Imperial, Matenyeh was a Research Program Coordinator for the CLEaR research team at the Johns Hopkins University focusing on Alzheimer's Disease research studies.
Motivation
Matenyeh hopes to use her lived personal experience as a former African refugee and professional mental healthcare and research experience to inform her contributions to global brain health capacity building.
