Neuroscientist
Claire is director of Scientific Programs & Outreach at the Alzheimer’s Association. In this role, she leads research programs and initiatives to accelerate the Association’s scientific agenda.
Claire works with expert researchers to develop scientific programming for the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC), the largest international meeting dedicated to dementia science. She also presents on the Association’s role in scientific advancements and the state of Alzheimer’s and dementia research.
As an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health, Claire's research focused on modifiable factors associated with risk for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Throughout her career, Claire has combined her research with voluntary work in community-based initiatives aimed at promoting healthy aging and supporting people living with dementia.
Claire received her doctoral degree in psychiatry from the University of Oxford, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Manchester. Prior to joining the Association, Claire served as an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute, where her research focused on modifiable factors associated with risk for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
