As an Atlantic Fellow, he aims to incorporate artificial intelligence and cinema to convey the message of dementia care to an expanded audience.

Armagan finished Dokuz Eylül University medical school in 2008. He then worked as a Neurology resident 5 years in Izmir Tepecik Education and Research Hospital to become a neurologist in 2014. He finished also city theatre education in 2014. Then he successfully passed the Neurology Board Exam conducted by the Turkish Neurological Society in 2014 and the Neurology qualification exams conducted by the European Neurology Board Commission in 2019. He is still working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Izmir University of Economics. He has been serving as the chairman of the Young Neurologists Working Group, commissioned by the Turkish Neurological Society for the last 3 years.
