Overview
The structure of the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program provides the foundation for our learning experience. It is fellow-centered, with an emphasis on interactive learning rather than traditional lectures, as well as active and self-directed learning, discussion, questioning and reflection. We also use the diverse experiences of fellows to promote peer learning.
The structure and content of the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program are built around four pillars: Curriculum, Leadership, Mentorship, and Clinical and Lived Experiences.

Atlantic Fellows also have the opportunity to apply for competitive funding from the Pilot Awards for Global Brain Health Leaders. Many aspects of the learning experience help fellows prepare to write a competitive proposal for this award.
Additionally, there are many optional and informal opportunities to help shape learning and community building by participating activities at UCSF and Trinity and shared across both sites. Read about Site Opportunities.
