The attack of therapeutic nihlism or the invasion of "there is nothing to do"
Even today, when it was just announced by the government that Alzheimer's disease and other dementias will be included in the specific health guarantees plan (GES / AUGE), not everything has been joy.
Despite the fact that dementia disease affects more than 200,000 compatriots directly and nearly 800,000 indirectly, generating large public, private and personal health expenses, the admission of these pathologies to the GES has generated discomfort in some sectors .
In different social networks, voices have been raised denouncing the government decision, the product of years of interdisciplinary work, based on the inability of current medical science to cure Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, pointing out that those pathologies with curative treatment should be prioritized.
