The GBHI Alumni Community is invited to attend a special online session as 2024 wraps up: Well-Being and Resilience: Building Strength for the Road Ahead led by Atlantic Fellow Anne Browning, the inaugural Chief Well-Being Officer & Associate Dean for Well-Being at the University of Washington School of Medicine. The session is presented through the GBHI Alumni Relations team as part of the GBHI Leadership Arc to develop, strengthen, and exercise leadership skills that are crucial in the ongoing path of Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health. During the session with Anne:

  • Discuss resilience coping strategies and their primary blocker – our neurobiological response to stress and threat.
  • Look at emotional intelligence and self-compassion as ways to overcome that neurobiological response.
  • Explore practices for team growth for resilience and compassion.

Perspectives of participants from around the globe will be sought during session to share thoughts from contexts around the world.

There will be two times offered for this session to help make it accessible to participants in different time zones:

  • Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM PT
  • Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 8:00 - 9:00AM PT / 4:00 - 5:00 PM GMT

We hope you, the Atlantic Fellows Alumni from GBHI, can join us!
