GBHI Annual Conference 2022

The GBHI Annual Conference is a forum for GBHI community members, collaborators, and brain health enthusiasts worldwide to consider new and different perspectives to advance brain health. Now a virtual experience, it will include activities to build our community and celebrate its work across disciplines and regions.

The theme for 2022 is “Disrupting Disparities: Multidisciplinary Approaches for Brain Health Equity.” Conference participants can expect to:

  • Connect with communities from GBHI, collaborators, and brain health enthusiasts to explore international collaboration for brain health equity.
  • Learn about diverse perspectives to promote global brain health equity, including how the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health are building interdisciplinary best practices in dementia prevention, research, and care.
  • Grow knowledge, skills, and relationships to inspire and advance global efforts to reduce the scale and impact of dementia.

Addressing Health Disparities

GBHI is also collaborating with the Alzheimer’s Association on a new meeting, Addressing Health Disparities, a conference to promote diverse perspectives across Alzheimer’s and dementia research, June 21–22 in Washington, D.C. and online. This will take place the week following the GBHI Annual Conference; we encourage our community members to participate.

We hope you will be able to join us!
